About
A more personal way to manage your Cape Town property.
Laura’s story
Founder, Sirène Management
Cape Town has been home and inspiration for me for many years. Its Atlantic Seaboard — the light on the water at Camps Bay, the quiet coves below Clifton, the walk-everywhere ease of Sea Point and Green Point — is one of the most rewarding places in the world to host a guest, and one of the most demanding places to do it well.
I founded Sirène after seeing how often good properties underperform, not because owners lack ambition, but because professional short-term rental management usually means handing your listing to a large operation where your home becomes one account among hundreds. Details get missed. Communication becomes impersonal. And the listing you carefully built no longer feels like yours.
My background sits at the intersection of hospitality, property and guest experience: understanding what makes a stay memorable, what makes a listing convert, and what quietly goes wrong when a home isn’t looked after with care. Sirène brings that attention together in one place — pricing, guests, readiness and reporting — while leaving ownership exactly where it belongs.
I believe owners should expect a manager who is genuinely accountable: someone who knows the property, answers directly, and treats its performance and its upkeep as one responsibility rather than two. That is only possible at a human scale, which is why Sirène keeps a deliberately focused portfolio. Fewer homes, managed properly, is the entire point.
Management philosophy
Three principles.
Owner control
The property, listing, reviews and payout relationship remain with the owner.
Personal accountability
Owners communicate with the person responsible for managing their property.
Thoughtful performance
Commercial performance, property care and guest experience are managed together.
Service area
Focused on the Atlantic Seaboard.
Sirène initially focuses on Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard, including Fresnaye, Bantry Bay, Sea Point, Clifton, Camps Bay, and Green Point. Other Cape Town properties are considered selectively.
